Foreign Residents Support Center has opened in July 2020!
Institutions that support the lives of foreigners living in Japan are gathered in one place.
I visited there, so I’m going to introduce it briefly.
Foreign Residents Support Center (FRESC) is a collection of government offices that support foreigners living in Japan. Counseling from foreigners, support for companies that want to hire foreigners, support for local governments working to support foreigners, etc., the institutions in Foreign Residents Support Center (FRESC) are working together to improve the environment for accepting foreigners.
・ Immigration Services Agency (Residency Support Division ・ Disclosure
Request Office)
They accept requests to disclose immigration records and alien registration records
in addition to administrative documents held by the Immigration Services Agency.
・ Tokyo Regional Immigration Services Bureau
They provide individual counseling by appointment to foreign nationals living in
Japan and companies that want to hire foreign nationals.
・ Tokyo Legal Affairs Bureau, Human Rights Department
They provide counseling on various human rights issues, including discriminatory
treatment of foreign nationals and people with disabilities.
・ Japan Legal Support Center (the JLSC, Houterasu)
Houterasu is a public agency that guides you to resolve legal issues.
・ Tokyo Labor Bureau Consultation and Support Office or Foreigners.
They provide consultation and support regarding the Labor Standards Act, etc.
for business owners who employ foreign workers, and also provide consultation
on working conditions for foreign workers.
・ Tokyo Employment Service Center for Foreigners
It is an institution that provides support for foreign students and pecialist/
technical expert status of residence holder who are seeking fulltime employment.
・ Ministry of Foreign Affairs Visa Information
They accept various general counseling inquiries relating to visa application procedures.
・ Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO)
They provide support services to promote the utilization of foreign nationals who
have a high-level of knowledge and skills.

A consultation booth and a reading space were set up in the hall with plenty of space to create an environment where it is easy to collect information. I think you can talk calmly with the staff.
