Do you want to know what kind of status of residence you have?
There are actually different types. There are two main types.
This can be broadly divided into what is called a work visa and relationship or residence visa.
A work visa is a status of residence to work in Japan.
Relationship or residence visa is a status for living with family in Japan.
I think that many people are not familiar with even if they are said to have a relationship (residential) visa, so today
I will focus on this.
This is a qualification called a relationship-based (resident) visa.
Permanent Resident, Spouse or Child of Japanese, Spouse or Child of Permanent Resident, Long Term Resident, Special Permanent Resident
