Naturalization, the process you become Japanese. It often takes more than a year from application to approval. Not only is the number of applicants increasing and the applications crowded, but the examination is also carefully conducted.
If there are any changes to the content of your application during the examination period, please immediately report it to the official of the Legal Affairs Bureau.
These are the matters that often change;
・ Address or contact number
・ Status (marriage, divorce, birth, death, adoption, dissolution of adoption)
・ Visa (status of residence, period of stay)
・ History of your departure / entry
・ Violations of law(traffic violation, etc.)
・ Occupation (workplace, contents of work, salary)
・ Change of legal domicile or name from what you submitted in the application
Please report it immediately if any other change arises.
When you report them, you may be required to submit the supporting materials. Please follow the instructions of the Legal Affairs Bureau.
